AI labs are paying businesses for their work history. We'll get you the best bid for yours.
Years of email, Slack, tickets and ERP records are exactly what AI labs need. We take your business to multiple licensing partners and bring back competing bids for a de-identified copy.
- Free for you. Licensing partners pay us, not you.
- No files to start. A short call is all it takes.
- Competing bids from multiple licensing partners
- You approve the price, scope and use. Your originals stay with you.
Takes about 2 minutes. No obligation.
Why your old Slack threads are suddenly worth money
AI labs have already trained on most of the public internet. What they still don't have is how real businesses actually run: how a quote gets built, how a support ticket gets solved, how a shipment gets rescheduled.
That knowledge only lives inside companies like yours. So labs have started licensing it, with personal details stripped out.
When Spirit Airlines' de-identified emails, chats and code went to auction in its bankruptcy, competing bids pushed Google's $5 million opening offer to $10 million.
Source: auction results filed in bankruptcy court (Case 25-11897, August 2026). Sale pending court approval as of October 2026.
You don't need to be an airline. Transcription company cielo24 licensed its records for "hundreds of thousands of dollars." Its CEO told Forbes it took her from "I don't know how we are going to pay our bills" to being able to "tie this up neatly with a bow and be able to walk away."

Systems that count
The questions every owner asks first
"Is this safe for my customers and team?"
Licensing partners de-identify records before delivery, removing or replacing names, contact details, account information, credentials and payment details. No method removes every risk, so you review each partner's process and terms before you agree to anything.
"Why not go to a partner directly?"
You can. With us you get several bids instead of one, and we handle the back-and-forth. Competition matters: in Spirit's auction, rival bids doubled the opening offer. It costs you nothing either way.
"I don't have time for a project."
Two minutes on a form and one call. No uploads, no cleanup, no IT project on your side.
The value lives in history you still have
Bids depend on years of records. When subscriptions lapse or a company winds down, archives get deleted, and that value is gone for good. Applying costs nothing and doesn't commit you to anything.

FAQ
Who are you, and how do you get paid?
Data Dividend is an independent broker. We don't buy, store or handle your records. When a deal closes, the licensing partner you choose pays us a referral fee. You pay nothing.
Do I lose my data?
No. Your originals stay with your business. A deal covers an approved, de-identified licensing copy only.
Do I need technical help?
No. You tell us which systems you use. The licensing partner handles the technical work once you approve a bid.
What will my bid be?
It depends on headcount, years of history and how many systems you use. Telegraph Lab reports paying $350K to $650K to 60 to 100-person firms. For shut-down startups, Forbes reports typical payouts of $10,000 to $100,000. Our call gets you a realistic range before any partner review.
How long does it take?
Published timelines vary by partner, from under 21 days from first call to first wire (Labelbox Prism) to about three months for others. We'll give you a realistic estimate on our call.
Is the license exclusive?
Often, yes. Several partners license exclusively by default, and a license usually can't be undone once a model has trained on the data. You'll see every term, including exclusivity and permitted use, before you sign anything.
Is applying a commitment?
No. You approve the price, scope, permitted use and handling terms before anything is delivered, and you can walk away at any point before that.
Who are the licensing partners?
AI-data licensing platforms that buy de-identified business records for AI training. We'll tell you exactly who is bidding before you choose.
